Savannah Chrisley is sharing two big life updates at once. On the Oct. 27 episode of her Unlocked podcast, she revealed that she is engaged to her fiancé, Jason, and expecting their first baby together.
Her fiancé is named Jason

Chrisley shared the news on the Oct. 27 episode of her Unlocked podcast, after months of teasing a romance without identifying her partner. The only name she has offered publicly is Jason. Followers still do not know his last name, but Chrisley did offer a few clear details about how he entered her life.
She said they began dating in July 2025, after her two-year relationship with Robert Shiver ended. She also noted she met Jason through the “world of politics,” a detail that helps explain both his relative privacy and the careful way she has chosen to speak about their relationship.
A Cayman Islands proposal
Chrisley said Jason proposed during a getaway to what she called their “happy place” in the Cayman Islands, roughly five months into dating.
“Jason and I started dating in July, so … five months [later],” she said on the podcast. “Timing means nothing, guys, OK? But back in December, Jason and I were in the Cayman Islands, and little did I know, he had a ring in his backpack.”
She recalled noticing a box left out while Jason was digging through his backpack. “Jason was getting a charger out of his backpack, I think I called him in the other room,” she said. “He came in there and then he left a box on the counter. I was like, ‘Oh, my God, is that what I think it is?’ But I didn’t know, to be, you know, 100 percent.”
Helicopter help and a missing ring
The proposal itself unfolded on a different island that Chrisley described as “extremely secluded.” She said Jason seemed distracted, and it turned out he was coordinating with a friend of hers behind the scenes.
Chrisley said Jason had been texting her friend about proposing, and that friend ultimately picked up the ring and flew by helicopter to the island, later telling the couple their afternoon flight had been delayed an hour.
As they headed toward the airport, Jason led Chrisley to a setup with flowers and champagne. Chrisley said she was not dressed up for the moment at all.
“I just think he’s being sweet, like, I had no idea … I had been in the ocean all day. I was in a swimsuit,” she said. “I had hair, makeup not done, none of that. So I had no idea.”
Then came the hiccup: Jason could not immediately find the ring, which had been hidden in a tree. Eventually, he proposed. Chrisley said she was in shock and cried, calling the ring “insane” and “everything I ever wanted.”
What he told her first
Chrisley said one of the most meaningful parts of the moment was what Jason said before opening the box, and the fact that she felt no pressure to label it in a specific way.
“Before I open this, I just want you to know that this is just an expression of love to you. This can be whatever you want it to be. This can be an engagement ring, a promise ring, a cocktail ring for all I care. I just want you to know how much I love you.”
“And there was no pressure ever put on me” to define it, she added.
Chrisley acknowledged it happened quickly, but she defended the pace. “I feel like you could find out more about a person in three months than you did in a whole year of being with them,” she said.
Why they kept it quiet

Chrisley said she and Jason chose not to share the engagement right away. Part of that decision, she explained, was tied to their age difference.
“There is a huge age gap,” she said, before adding, “So, yes, the age difference, so what? I don’t care.”
Pregnancy and a “plot twist”
Alongside the engagement reveal, Chrisley also shared that she is pregnant. “I am almost 21 weeks, which is absolutely insane,” she said on the Oct. 27 podcast episode. She also posted an Instagram video cradling her baby bump, holding a sonogram, and kissing Jason.
She described the pregnancy as unexpected, especially given the fertility planning she and Jason had been doing. Chrisley said that while she publicly framed her fertility steps as egg freezing, she had not shared the full picture because she was not ready to be public about her relationship.
“To the public, I stated that I was going to freeze my eggs,” she said. “And it wasn’t necessarily a lie. I had just not been public about my relationship yet.”
She added that they were “actually creating embryos,” and that they “ended up with two healthy embryos.”
About a month after her egg retrieval, the couple took a vacation along the coast of Turkey and Greece. It was during that trip, she said, that they learned she was pregnant.
“It was a major plot twist,” she said. “We were both so shocked, so thrilled. God’s hand was written all over this. … We are unbelievably excited and cannot wait for this baby to get here.”
Wedding plans

Chrisley shared that they originally planned to get married on Jan. 9, 2027, but the timeline shifted after the pregnancy news.
“Our wedding was scheduled for January 9 of 2027,” she said. “And let me tell you, it was going to be a phenomenal time. It still is going to be a phenomenal time. It has just been pushed a few months to May of 2027. And that is because we got the surprise of a lifetime.”
How she remembers it

Chrisley described the proposal as “the most magical, amazing experience [in] the entire world,” adding that it was filmed and that they now have videos and photos that are “just us.”
“And I absolutely love him for who he is and creating those special moments for us,” she said.
